ABOUT THIS EVENT
Dear Members,
Registration is now open for the Birmingham 2026 World Boccia Challenger.
To register for this event on the World Boccia Membership Platform:
- •Nations must be World Boccia Members with their 2026 membership confirmed.
- •Athletes must hold a valid World Boccia licence and have completed the required anti-doping education (ADeL).
- •Invoice will be provided by the Local Organising Committee after the Entry by Number, Entry by Name and Accommodation Stages are completed. Ensure that registration is done by the different deadline.

ENTRY LIMITS
- •The total number of athletes for this Challenger is limited to 90.
- •Teams and Pairs events are limited to a maximum of 12 sides.
- •The minimum number of athletes required for the event to be viable is 60.
- •At each Challenger event, Member Nations may enter a maximum of 10 athletes (e.g. 7 athletes across Teams and Pairs, plus up to 3 athletes from individual-only slots).
EVENT PARTICIPATION LIMITS
Each Member Nation's Pairs, Teams, and athletes are limited to a maximum of four events from:
- •Tier 3 (World Boccia Cup), and
- •Tier 4 (World Boccia Challenger)
